Arranged a pick up at LAX after long flight from UK. I am a disabled veteran, progress through the airport was slow due to passport control, security and waiting for luggage. We rang the office, as instructed in our letter from them, we did not get the drivers number as expected, to let them know we had cleared security and had our luggage. We were now on time for pick up. They did not answer my mobile for 20min. My wife went to the information desk and rang on the landline. they eventually answered after 35 minutes. We were informed that the driver had left as they said we were too long in contacting them. The woman who answered was rude and could not have cared less about our situation. she said that there were no other cars available. They took no account of the fact that we were on time but could not contact them as they did not answer the phone. Never even contemplate using this poor excuse of a rip off company. £85 for nothing, my wife asked for a refund which was refused.
What a welcome to the USA. Not a good first impression.
