I had called advanced acai a week or 2 ago to cancel my order, but only got a voicemail, and waited forever to speak with someone. It never happened...Today I contacted my bank when I saw that they (advanced acai) double charged me. My bank gave me a phone number to contact them (it was different than the one the company had listed on my shipping invoices and on the website...Also different than the # on this website- the # my bank gave me was 877 388 3369). I was able to talk to a human being right away (Stu). I first told the guy that I had been double charged. He started to get a little defensive and said that their records didn't show that. Very nicely, I let him know I had already spoken with my bank, that I was right at that moment looking at my bank account online and gave him the dates that the money had been deducted from my account. I was never ugly with him. But what helped the most was that I told him the big reason I needed to cancel my order in the first place was that the product was giving me a rapid heartbeat. When I told him that, he became much more cooperative. He said he would stop shipment on the pending order and refund the amount that had been deducted (I'll be checking back to see if that actually happens)He also said that he'd send a cancellation confirmation to my hotmail account to make sure it had been cancelled and that I would not be charged again. We got off of the phone I checked my email on and off for 20 minutes. I never got the cancellation confirmation, so I called back and got a different person on the phone(Angela). She said she would need my credit card # again to pull up my account. The first guy didn't need it to pull up my account, so I told her that and said I'd call back. I called right back, got another different person (David) and they didn't need my credit card # again. I was very nice to him also, told him that I had spoken to someone about cancelling my orders but that I didn't get my confirmation. He sent one while I was on the phone with him. I have it now and he also said that he saw where the other guy had put in for a refund for me. Keep at these guys, be friendly no matter how angry you are with them, and tell them it gave you a rapid heartbeat and I think you'll get results. Also, refer to exact dates if applicable to your situation, get their name if they don't give it to you when you call. Use their name when you are talking to them. This will let them know that you are paying attention. Good luck. This company is super fishy.
