I'm reposting this information, as I felt it was extremely important:
I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General. Contact them at 1-800-952-5225. Also report them to the FTC as they collect information and put together a class action suit. Contact the FTC at 1-877-382-4357. Also, report them to the California State Bar Loan Modification Task Force at 1-800-843-9053 or www.calfar.ca.gov. Finally, you can request a Mandatory Fee Arbitration from the Orange County Bar Association to try to get your advance fees refunded. Contact them at 949-440-6700 ext. 153

My family has filed a complaint with the Attorney General of CA and will submit information for a class action lawsuit and with the bar for a refund. When I called or emailed for a refund I was ignored. My final call today was to let them know I was denied a loan mod and wanted a refund, per my contract. They knew I had been denied, but had not felt the need to contact me. They don't allow you to speak, just keep cutting you off. They said they'll submit my paperwork for review of a refund, REVIEW!!!? It's in my contract!!!! This company is horrible! It's a shame they are taking advantage of people already in financial distress, not to mention it is ILLEGAL to accept money upfront for these services. I was told I would not have to pay up front, then was pressured into paying. I should have listened to my gut, but was so afraid of loosing my home, so I paid. They are not thorough in there case reviews, bounce you around from case worker to case worker without any updates. They told me it would take 45 days to receive my paperwork form BofA and was pre qualified. Nothing came, I called and called, nothing! I called BofA and received my paperwork in less than the 14 days they said it would take. Wish I had an option for negative stars, because that is how much they are worth. I can't believe I didn't check this site first, they have a rating of D-. I hope they pay for their mis-representation of families in such hard times! I could go on about my entire 7 months with this company, but to be quite honest, I'm sick to my stomach and my unborn child doesn't need to be under this distress. I'm going to try and relax. Please listen to the advice of those who had a horrible experience and save your money!
