Anthem BCBS - I'm Overcharged & Underserved
Horrible company. In order to get a claim paid you need to call numerous times to get any resolution. I am still fighting to get a claim filed from over 9 months ago. Also be warned ladies, if you are under forty they will give you a hard time about why you would possibly require a breast MRI or a mammogram at your age. Also unless you hit that magic number of forty they won't even consider paying for a mammo even if it is doctors orders - I just got hit with a bill for 400.00. I have had more problems with these people and they are impossible to communicate with. If you have a claim open to long sometimes someone will just "close" it and you will wonder why you get bills from your medical providers all the time. Granted some of the customer service people are friendly but most of the people you speak with are ill-informed and you should expect to get different answers depending on who you speak to. I wish my employer offered a better option.
