I ordered Alteril, a sleep aid, with a one week "free" trial for only the cost of shipping @ $.97 with the auto charge for the full cost the next month if I did not cancel. The product was to be delivered within 4-6 weeks. After 5 weeks with no product delivery, I called to check on the status of the order and was told that my credit card "refused the charge" which is absolutely unrealistic as I have a high maximum for charges and pay my balance monthly. The agent's English was extremely poor and she was difficult to understand. However, she was rude giving me much grief over not supplying a proper credit card that could accept a charge of $.97 which was insulting. As a result, I decided to cancel the order rather than attempt to correct their error or supply another credit card number. In the process of cancelling, I asked the agent to wait so I could write the cancellation # and she hung up on me! I then called the co. again and got another agent who had some difficulty finding my order, but once located, completed the cancellation process properly. I think this is an online scam and fear illegal transactions could be charged to my account, so I am cancelling the old cc number for a new one!
