I was very skeptic of BriteSmile in the beginning because of all the negative reviews that I've read but finally decided to give it a whirl. I received a gift certificate for the holidays and made an appointment this past weekend at the SoHo location. I was a little nervous going into it but eventually felt at ease once there. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff... they answered what few questions I had and took their time to make sure that I felt comfortable. The procedure didn't seem to last as long as I expected (in order for the time to fly I just popped in my iPod and actually almost fell asleep). Now I wouldn't say this is your ordinary 'spa' experience, but it is a really great teeth whitening experience. I had limited sensitivity that only lasted the remainder of that day and the next. Now I can see that my teeth are visibly whiter and am very happy that I went through with the procedure. For the price (especially for me since it was free with the gift certificate!) it was definitely worth it.
