Unspoken Request
|
I've taken the Caribbean Cruise Line last month for 6 days including departure and arrival days. The unanticipated event is that I had to spent a full day to attend a time-sharing lecture in order to receive my boading pass. The lecture lasted for more than 4 hours and I had spend 2 hours driving there and back to my hotel at Ft. Lauderdale before boarding the cruise next day. I don't like this un-announced and must attended requirement and I was wondering if this is legal. The promotion I received in the mail was $594. But when you were adding $320 for the airline tickets to the Port city (Ft.Lauderdal) and $260 car rental to drive to the port, It was not un-expensive. In addition, the customer service was very un-reliable. I have made nine phone calls, three faxes and one certified mail to get one correction done about my trip. With all the problems, one thing was for sure: The Bahamas was beautiful. My experience concluded: check out other cruise companies. Hope you can avoid the troubles I encountered. Carery
