Customer service was great until I paid for the item: a gold watch bracelet, which had to be soldered to my diamond-face watch. I had to send my watch face to Goldwatches.com to perform the soldering, as they assured me were an authorized dealer and had the training and experience to work on expensive watches. The watch mechanism had to be taken out in order to perform the soldering. I sent my watch, in perfect condition I must add. Received it back with the bracelet soldered to satisfaction, however the time wasn't correct, which was strange because any reputable watchmaker will finish the work with putting the correct time on the dial. When I tried to adjust teh time on the watch myself, I noticed that the watch mechanism wasn't working properly. The hands of the watch weren't aligned properly, so when the hands were supposed to be at 12 o'clock, the hands were quite off, not perfectly vertical, etc, which made telling the time very difficult. I contacted Goldwatches.com immediately, and I was blamed that the watch arrived with broken mechanism, and it wasn't the watchmaker's fault. I insisted this is a bunch of poor excuses for a job poorly done. I was promised a further look into the matter, and was never contacted again. I contacted the company yet again, with no further answer. I would never deal with them again, and don't recommend this company for doing business with. Very unethical.
