I gave one star only because there was not an options for zero or minus stars.
Let the buyer beware. I strongly urge you to go elsewhere.
I ordered a program "CleanMyMac" for down load as well as a hardcopy disk of the program. With a total cost of $39.90. I made a hard copy of the invoice.
The next couple of days I noticed that my Discover card had been billed Novadevelopment.com Calabasas CA $69.85. I tried to call Nova Development and held on the phone for 20+minutes listening to a recording saying someone would be with me in less than two minutes. Well after 20+ minutes listening to this recording I hung up.
I went on line and found a Nova Chat line. I gained a person to chat with. They said to scan a copy of the invoice to them. I informed her that I have trouble scanning such over the email and asked her if there was any other way. I was told no. I asked could I talk to anyone over the telephone and I was told they did not have telephone access.
She looked up the order number I gave her and she said that the invoice did in fact show to be for $39.90 and that if I was billed $69.85 that I would have to call my bank. What a catch 22, round robin, scam.
I called Discover and they placed a temporary credit for the difference and are investigating. This will take 30 days.
With the lack of customer service from Nova development I question whether the program I downloaded is really legitimate. I wonder now if it is not some sort of software scam.
I regret very much ordering from them. I told the chat person this and how it was terrible that I could not speak with anyone over the telephone. She did say she apologized for my inconvenience.
