I booked a cruise with onlinevacationcenter.com
I was given a "firm" price, category, and cabin number by the agent. The price included $100.00 that was an "administrative fee" for "book keeping purposes only" that was to be charged and credited to my account all on the same day. It was not done as promised. I had to call several times over a few months to get the credit properly applied to my account. I also asked several times for an accounting in writing of my cruise details. I was told it would be done. It was NEVER done. By this time it was too late to cancel the cruise. When boarding the ship we found out the agent from on line vacation center had called the cruise line and down graded us without my knowledge or permission. The cabin we had to stay in for one week was not as desirable as the one we thought we had booked. I called the director of sales to complain. He DID NOT CARE. However, he sent me a $100.00 certificate to use with them for a future cruise. SERIOUSLY???? Did he think we would ever use them again!!?? I told him give me a free cruise in the cabin I actually booked and I will be satisfied.
He refused. DO NOT USE ONLINE VACATION CENTER. THEY ARE LIARS AND CROOKS!
