10 years later still be asked for more premium payment and fees

I bought two policies 10 years ago using my IRA fund. Now I am not only been asked to pay thousands dollars of premium with my after-tax money every year but also need to pay hundreds of dollars of IRA account manitance fee every year. And still could not get any information on the real status of the insurance policies invested.
