I purchased a Tracfone and enrolled in their "value minutes" plan over a year ago. I was to receive 50 min. per month plus 50 free min. per month for $9.99 in exchange for an automatic charge of $9.99 per month to my registered credit card. I did not receive the free monthly minutes for the first 6 months. They were added only after I called and requested them. The second 6 months of service my credit card was charged appropriately and my phone was accurately updated. Approximately 9 months ago tracfone stopped updating my phone but continued to charge me. I began making telephone calls to request my minutes. This worked for three months. Then the company began to refuse to add the minutes. They reported my phone was updated and I was charged appropriately. I was never able to find an employee at Tracfone who could correct the problem. This included a telephone call lasting over 4 1/2 hours. They kept trying to tell me the minutes were being added to my phone when they were not. I finally gave up and had the credit card removed from the account. I will not ever purchase another phone or contract from this company. In my opinion they did not honor their contract with me.
